Booking & Cancellation Policies

The Island of Caye Caulker is situated in the Coastal Caribbean/Tropical region of Belize, offering breathtaking views of the Reef and stunning sunrises and sunsets. However, being in this region means encountering occasional challenges such as heat, humidity, sudden tropical squalls, Sargassum influxes, and power outages. While we endeavor to maintain a serene and tranquil environment, it's essential to acknowledge that neighboring hotels may occasionally host events/weddings with loud music, which could affect guests sensitive to noise.

Our island boasts an abundance of natural wildlife, including Geckos, Iguanas, island dogs, and land crabs. Periodically, sandflies and mosquitoes may also be present. Rest assured, we are committed to ensuring your stay remains comfortable and enjoyable despite these natural elements. We also sell 'It Works' in the office, a great natural repellent, especially for sandflies.

Booking Policy:

  • All room rates are quoted in USD and are subject to a 12.5% (taxes & fees), in addition to a $6USD resort fee per day.
  • At the time of booking, guests are required to pay a $500US deposit via PayPal. For reservations totaling more than $1000US, a 50% deposit is due upon booking.
  • Your deposit invoice will be sent via PayPal within 24 hours of booking and must be paid upon receipt.
  • The remaining balance is due 45 days before arrival.
  • All room rates include to 2 guests. Additional charges apply for extra guests: $20.00 per night for each extra adult (beyond the first two) and $15.00 per night for each child under 18 years old.
  • Please note that the credit card you provided will not be charged for your room stay or room deposit. Instead, it will be securely kept on file and may be utilized to cover any additional expenses incurred during your stay, which can be settled upon check-out at the property.

Minimum Nights:

  • May - December: Two-night minimum stay applies (excluding holidays)
  • January - April: Four-night minimum stay applies
  • 20 December - 4 January (Holiday): Four-night minimum stay applies

Additional Information:

  • WWe do not provide refunds or credits for late arrivals, inclement weather (including hurricanes), missed or canceled flights, or early departures. We highly recommend purchasing travel cancellation insurance, which is typically available through most carriers.
  • Pets are not allowed, and smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Suites or Cabanas.
  • It is strongly recommended to purchase travel cancellation insurance, easily accessible through carriers such as www.insuremytrip.com.
  • Please be aware that check-in begins at 3 pm, and check-out is at 10 am.
  • Fees will be charged for any missing, lost, or damaged items as follows: Room key $50US, Safe key $50US, Bike Lock and/or Bike Lock key $50US, Bike $350US, Mattress/Futon Mattress $500US.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made more than 45 days before arrival: Full refund will be provided, with a deduction of a $50.00 Administration fee and applicable PayPal fees.
  • Cancellations made less than 45 days before arrival: The reservation becomes non-refundable. However, if cancellation occurs more than 21 days before arrival, any payments made can be applied towards a future reservation within 12 months of the cancellation.
  • Reservations canceled with less than 21 days notice will remain non-refundable.
  • Please note that full payment is required 45 days before the arrival date.
